Had a design idea earlier today and was curious if anyone knew where to find large (inch long or more) oval rings (or would it be links). I'm not so good at the wire wrapping so I would probably just butcher wire if I tried to make my own.

Not sure what metal you are looking for, but Rick at Chainweavers has been making oval rings and they are really nice. The sizes may not be quite as large as you need, but worth a look.
